1986.5, 7mge with 132,000 miles. Heat started from the starter and burnt the main harness near the firewall, and other cables and hoses. Everything worked on this car!
My questions to you guys are....Can this be fixed? Where do I get the wire harness and other parts? How much do you think it will cost. Should a pro do this? Help.

I may have a wire harness for you. I've got an '86 parts car that I'm offering parts from. If your mechanically inclined, you could probably handle this yourself. Let me know if interested.
