What does ECT stand for?
 
what does that stand for? what adjustment does that button make? i've noticed it makes for less milage, but no real performance difference.... help!

Electronic Controlled Transmission.

In the power mode, under the same gas peddle position, it raises the rpm about 500 r's before it upshifts. This puts the motor into a better power band (more torque).

I've tested it alot, and found that I always leave it in power position now for a bit more pickup around town, and the mileage seems to be about the same.
