i have a1986 supra which i have owned for some 8 yrs.
recently the ecu dash light started coming on at around 2800 rpm. after having it to 3 different mechanics it looks like the computer might have a short or whatever in it. im trying to track down an ecu at a resonable price.(toyota have since made them obselete) serial nos. for the original are 89661-14100. others ive been told that are compatible are. 89661-14090 91 101 091 092 130 131 140 141 190 200 210 can anyone help? regards |

Ummm, why not try to check the codes??? ECUs hardly EVER go bad. I'd be more willing to place a bet on 3 different mechanics being idiots than that ECU being bad.
