Help me please which way, dizzy???
 

ive just put together the top end of my 7M-GE, had the heaf resurfaced etc went to start it....bang big arse backfire, I have either...or both put the injector plugs on the wrong way, or/and i put the ditributer in wrong, how do iget it in the right place, i (well i think i did) put it at TDC and had the spinny thing face point 1.????how do i check if the injector cables are in the right order and how do i put the distrbuter in the right place< sorry about the ad spelling and lack of proper terminology....

do a diagnostic check
see what codes you have
if you dont know how to do it

search any post from suprra_girl
she has the instructions on her signature

The injector cables? Do you mean the spark plug wires? The distributor cap should have numbers on each ear for which wire they go to.
Also most toyota distributors have lines on the gear and then the body to line up before installing. (with the engine at tdc, on the #1 cylinder compression stroke.)
