What is a "big bore system 4"?

"big bore system 4"

"Hey i want to get a big bore for (4) my supra" meaning i want bigger pistons, well what ever it will cost to get it down to the pistons to rebuild my motors is like 2500 to 3000 dollars and that is pretty much what your going to have done if your going to go that far.

You might as well forge the piston and rods then you can turbo charge, and not have to worry about thorwing a rod.

Fwiw, I can guarantee 100%+++ for sure he's not going to throw a rod by putting on an exhaust and "a chip" and a turbo. To throw a rod, he'd have to put in a large turbo AND some nos...and then run untuned on pump gas. The oem 2jz-ge rods are plenty tough. Also, you won't fully & properly rebuild a 2jz-gte for only $3K, IF you include all of the labor $ to pull, strip, and then reassemble the engine after the rebuild.

On the other hand, lower compression pistons (or a thicker headgasket as a 'poor mans' alternative) is a recommendation for turbo'ing.
