Painting Calipers

Who makes the best / easiest to use caliper painting kit?

Honestly the very best results don't come from a kit. You have to completely disassemble the calipers and have them powder-coated.

hmmmm, i repainted mine 3 years ago and they STILL look great. I used hiheat grey, about the same color, used testors paint sticks to reprint the supra script using the red and black, then 3 coats of clearkote. never expected it to last this long.

I've used testors and I agree it's probably the best combo of results & (relative) ease of use. In order to properly use testors, ime you still have to spend a lot of time prepping the caliper...

Well Im still thinking of going NA-T. So I think I will either wait to paint them or just paint the TT calipers, once I convert. That way I could powdercoat the new ones before I install them.

PW - Can I just upgrade the fronts at first to TT when going NA-T?

Ill probably get some TT calipers, TRD brake lines, TT rotor (stock, brembo, stillen,) and hawk pads. Could I just leave the rears as they are?

Do you mean only upgraded the calipers (and not the rest of the braking system at the same time)???

No the whole front TT system, calipers, rotors, etc and leave the rears NA.

What about the brake master cylinder? The abs unit? The abs ecu?
