Actually in Japan, the MKIV Supra Turbo is also MAP-based (not MAF). The Aristo 2jz-gte and the Japanese-spec Mkiv Supra Turbo's 2jz-gte are almost identical in terms of performance characteristics. The primary differences are associated with fitting the engines into two different engine bays. For example, the oil pans are very different.

I'm not sure, but fwiw I doubt it.

I do know that there are several different versions of the E340 auto tranny. I believe that there's an E340 in the MKIII as well, but there are significant differences between the E340 in the MKIV and the E340 that's in the MKIII.
