It seems that coolant from your engine isn't circulating through your heater core...is it possible your heater hoses were bypassed?

hi there

Thanks for the reply but general consesus is that the heater valve is bust on it . . i am just havin trouble findin it .it looks like i have to remove the whole dash to get at it .i think i can switch it on constantly but i suppose whenever i do find it .. it would be better to replace it rather than havin to remove the dash in the summer to turn it off

Fwiw I agree you'll have to remove most of the dash to get to it.

Rofl yep. Good luck replacing the valve...

Also fwiw, I've seen several Mkiv Supras' cooling system components fail (water pump, hose splices, etc.), primarily due to improper maintenance. Ime, the jza80's cooling system components (including parts of the heater core) will only stand up well if your coolant is regularly flushed according to the schedule in owner's manual:

Agreed...along with distilled water (i.e. not tap water).
