New to this just purchased a 98 na mkiv auto and i have a question about the manu button does how it works and what other have done to increase power but still keeping it NA

Your owner's manual should be able to help with the function of the "MANU" button. Did the previous owner give you the owner's manual with the car? More info here as well:
