mk4 registration in california...
 

i getting my uncle mk4 for free....

it is a '97 mk4 Limited Edition Twin Turbo 6speed... and pretty much its all modification too..

the car is now in MI. and i'm from CA...

all i need to know is if i went there n take the car home what i need to do to register in CA.

i know that you need smog inspection and dmv registration for sure...

but in another hand... do i need to go see the CHP = California Highway Patrol. and do i have to go through some car inspection and to weight the car n ect...

i need help and suggestion... what to do beside the smog inspection... and dmv register....

i think u hav to register it at cali if youre going to drive it there
cuz my friend got a car from cali and he still is driving on cali plates
and he's been getting into trouble for that

it'll be the same sitch, for you only vice-versa

yeah i know that..

if you drive the car alots in town and the cops see your car with a diff. license plate... which is outer state plate.. they will pull you over for question and they gonna warning and after the warning... they gonna write you up with a $$$$ for fixing ticket and shit...

but i need to know how to register in cali. beside local dmv and smog inspection. what do i do beside this thing...
