If you want plug and play, you'll need a kit for a GE. It'll be more expensive because there's more parts to it, so keep looking.
This kit will include most of what you need, though, so if you want to, buy that and then gather the rest of the parts as you find good deals and such. |

http://www.powerhouseracing.com/file...rbo%20Upgrades Imho if you go with a cheap no-name kit off ebay, you're likely to find it's badly made, doesn't fit, doesn't come with all the parts&pieces you need, doesn't perform, and isn't reliable. Besides all that, the kit you linked to is for an Mkiv Turbo 2jz-gTe (not an normally aspirated/non-turbo). In other words, it absolutely for sure will not fit your car. If you wanted to fit it you'd have to start by cutting that header apart, re-bending the pipes, and weld a 2jz-ge exhaust flange on it. You'd have to get LOTS of custom-bent pipes for your intercooler, and even then it probably still wouldn't fit right. Starting with this kit is not a practical option, imo. |
GE heads are different than GTE heads on the 2JZ's?
If that's true, that sucks.... AFAIK they were the same... |

What you posted above is 100% correct: "If you want plug and play, you'll need a kit for a GE." |
Hmm. That sucks. Thanks for the info man.
