personaly i would much rather have a supercharger than a turbo because well a turbo gives you more power a blower gives you more torque and when you get going in a turbo your blowoff valve kicks on and you slow down

If you really wish to, there are PLENTY of supercharger kits for IS300's over here in the states. If you don't know already, IS300's are 2JZGE equipped, so I'm sure with some small bit of fabrication, it'll bolt up.
The problem with supercharging is there is a rather low cieling as far as power goes. You can only make xx amount of power, where a turbocharged car will make as much power as you want it to. The choice is yours. Personally, I'd love to see a cleanly supercharged supra just for the originality of it all, and not to mention it would make a pretty good DD. |
