Worried about wheel rubbing issues

:help:Hello everyone, I have a 1994 N/A Supra on stock suspension and im considering buying some wheels for it. The specs are as follows: 19x9.5 front +22 offset 19x11 rear +25 offset with 73.1 bore. I wanted to know if anyone on this forum has ever ran this setup and if there were any issues as far as rubbing? Also what size tires would be recomended? I'm trying to get a real aggressive look in the rear without having to do too much modifications. I already had my rear fenders rolled before i had the car painted. thanks....

Those offsets sound wrong to me. I believe the oem offsets are +50mm...

Also, tires that wide are a huge waste on an n/a, imho.

19 is a big wheel, i like the look of 18's the best, still can get a meaty tire then, but to each his own, what ever you do, post some pictures of it!

I sold the wheels and tired to a friend with a 350z. Looks sick on his car. I think im gonna go with the 18's. Found a set of wheels that are 18x9.5 +40 in the rear and 18x18.5+35 In the front. What's the widest tire I can get on there? Also do you think these will sit flush with the fender?

With a trimmed (not rolled) rear fender lip, you can fit 315-width rubber on 11.5" width rims.

I just put these on my Supra a couple of months ago, but be aware of this, get the right wheel fitment for the supra, aka the right offset, just cause they say they will fit doesn't mean they fit correct, i love the look of my new wheels, but they have been a pain in my ass, I have coil overs and have to take it in to get raised again, or I have to roll the fenders because my offset is not right so the new wheels stick out further then they are supposed to. I don't know what I should do:eek2: I can get you the offset i have so you don't make the same mistake i did, but I agree wide wheels on a N/A is kind of beating a dead horse.

Thanks, that would be greatly appreciated. I was about to pull the trigger on another set of wheels but honestly I'm scared of getting some with an incorrect offset and the wheels won't look the way I want.

Seems like I've posted this a dozen times: trim the fender lips - don't roll them!!!! Rolling them is a big mistake.

I've tried it both ways. Learn from my mistakes. I've personally trimmed several Mkiv Supra rear fender lips and they always come out great. There's literally no downside whatsoever to trimming, and many unique benefits. It's relatively easy. Your fender won't warp. You can do it yourself. No expensive tools required (eg. you can do it with a $20 jigsaw from a hardware store, if you follow the right prep and cutting process). Your fender will be just as strong as it was before. Please PM me if you have any concerns at all or if you have any questions about how, what tools, prep, process, finishing, etc.
