Question for 97-98 owner

Hi guys, mine is a 96 and I am curious about the sunvisor difference between mine and 97-98 which has a holder/clip of sort on the swinging end. What is that holder/clip for? and is it detachable to fit a 96? Thanks guy.

1) Is it a TT?
2) I've never seen anything like that. Perhaps it's an aftermarket visor? Please take a pic and post it. Thanks in advance?

Thanks for replying. I've tried to post the image yesterday but the forum was "not responding". Anyway, hope it works this time.

The online part catalog doesn't mention TT or not, just that the sunvisor of 96 and 97-98 are distinctive parts.

Originally I wanted to get a 97 sunvisor to replace mine, but now I've already found a 96 part proper so that' settled though I remain curious about the clip/holder on the 97's.

Interesting. I've either never seen that before, or (more likely) never noticed it. A guy who would know for sure is Curt Aigner at Elmhurst Toyota:
