Sell it and buy a TT. Not trying to be mean or a smartass or anything - the n/a is not for performance - it's only for show.

Aside from getting a TT, the best way would be to get a wider exhaust and do weight reduction and suspension. There's not much power to be had in a N/A engine. I just got a 7M-GE this month and I've already started saving for a 2JZ-GTE. They get about 70 more ft-lbf than the 2jz-ge. You could always just upgrade your engine to a TT. I'm not too sure on the mechanics of the 2jz-ge, but if you did that, you could get more power with it that way due to higher compression pistons. Of course, you'd have to upgrade your ECU, wiring harness and your entire fuel system with it. Granted, doing all of that would probably still be cheaper than selling the car you have and buying a TT MKIV. Those things are preposterously expensive.

my sugestion to you is to drive that fat ass down the streets and show that bitch off to everyone, lke yeah i got a mkIV boyeee!!! rev that engine and yeah exausts and intakes, even a supercharged if you find a DR.frakienstein mech. out there you just gota have the cash to spear but anything is posible you have already begun your supra mkIV journey be well and may the force be with you supra deciple!!:bigthumb:

lightly modded

suspension is already done ...currently sitting on coils with a carbon fiber hood...headers,intake,exhaust is what im running right now......isnt it cheaper to just swap the engine instead?

Are you still running the low performance n/a braking system (including the inferior n/a ABS and puny 2-piston calipers)?

To swap out the engine, you'll need a new harness (as Mk3FirstCar-Mike said), as well as a TT ecu, an ignitor, and a resistor pack. If your 2jz-gte comes from an Aristo, you'll need to swap the oil pans.

Also, if you're going to swap the engine, the transmission and differential will become the weak points.

By the time you've swapped all of that out, it (really!) would have been cheaper to just get a TT in the first place. :dunno: Just mho*. (*based on years of experience with the Mkiv Supra)

Again, the N/A Mkiv is pretty much just for show, and performance options are rather limited. Here's some more info on that topic:
