hi,
sorry, as this may be a stupid question... i've been having trouble finding a Toyota Supra, mark IV, straight six twin turbo, with the aerotop roof. is there such a car, or did they only make the aerotops on automatics??

this link should help a bit
http://www.mkiv.com/specifications/sales_n...bers/color.html

maybe someone more mkiv knowledgeable can help :)

suprra_girl 12-14-2004 10:32 PM

wow thats confusing....
yes straight 6 as in inline 6... yes all mk4 supras come straight 6
no supra... no year from 81 to 98 comes with a v motor

to clear up any confusion ;)

u serious? i thought they all had a V.... weird

suprra_girl 12-15-2004 12:05 PM

yeps absolutely all are straight 6's :)
it's not wierd... it's great hehe
so easy to work on... vg30det's are not fun lol.. those are horrible v's.. takes you an hour to change spark plugs hehe

i would prefer a straight 6 anyday ;)

Hi Mike,

I have a six speed in line twin turbo. The answer is no they do not make them, you will need to put a six speed box in and strengthen the Chassis to ensure compliance. Email me at jay@universalplanning.com.au.

Sure they made 6 speed TT's with sport roof. The only year they didn't was 1996.
That year they produced nothing but automatics for North American sales.

mkiv.com has specifications and build quantities for Supra's produced for sale in North America.
Didn't realize I was on an Australian site. (or am I)

Look likes several countries represented here. Interesting mix.
Just stumbled into this sight for the 1st time tonight. Can't believe
