94 Supra TT with idling and lost of power issue

Hi All,
I have a 94 TT Supra with idling problem and lost of power. Here's the symtom. When I unplug the MAF(mass airflow sensor) the car will idle fine, but has no power when driving. When I plug the MAF back in, it idles really bad and eventually died. I replace the MAF with 2 rebuild one and also bought a brand new one, but it still have the same issue. If anyone have experience the same problem and resolve it, please let me know what you did or the cause of the issue. I've sent the car to the auto repair shop and the mechanic say it's the MAF, but I know it's not because I've already tried it. I spent almost $1000 on the parts and i don't want to get rip off by the repair shop. Please advise if anyone has any idea.

thank you,
Bay

You have a boost leak. Check your intercooler pipe connections.

Thanks. I will check that and let you know if that's the cause.

Thanks to pwpanas. There was a pipe loose. Once the pipe was re-adjusted and tighten. All is good. Thanks again.
