SZ and SZ-R
 

ok im new to the forum and am thinking of buying a supra non-turbo because im 17 and the restrictions in Australia are that we cant get turbo cars till 21 :frown:. anyway ive been told the SZ-R is the better of the two because its much like the turbo version except non-turbo.. eg same brakes as turbo version etc.

so i was wondering is there really a big difference between the SZ and SZ-R performance or otherwise. and is there any way of telling the difference between the two so for when i go to inspect it i can tell. thanks in advance.

Depending on the model year, the SZ-R may come with a 6spd getrag, which is indeed more capable than either the 5spd or the auto.
