From what I've researched so far, you need to drill out parts of the block for the studs to fit, is that accurate? If this is true, is the same modification required to fit a 1jz head on the GE bottom end?

What part of the GTE pistons won't function in a GE block without squirters? Would I have to worry about overheating the pistons without squirters, or are stock GTE pistons forged?
