Hai Guys! :) IM Looking to get a Sexy Supra, MKIV...help?..
Hey, actually im not looking to get it... its a misson for me to get it lol.
im in Canada.. so were "allowed" to get em now .. 93's. And i have wanted one for a while. 1st i wanted a 300zx but thats like 3 tons and the engine is packed. Anyways im looking to get an RHD Twinn Turbo.. this is a stupid question though.. automatic would be the best but i highly doubt its easy to find a auto Twinn Turbo, is that right ? ( someone told me that.. ). Anyways.. really want one.. would love if i could hear from someone whos imported before. I got buddies who own a Skyline Shop out here and can import it for me .. but that would cost me more wouldnt it? Anyways help & more quotes would be killer. Oh and some sites that are good. ive already looked at Tyee2Imports . Thanks guys. Really hope i can learn a hell of alot more bout the MKIV |

Unfortunately, I've never imported one so hopefully some of the other members here will chime in. In the meantime, if you have any other questions about the Supra itself, please feel free to post them. |

I do have a few questions for you and/or the importers you talk with: 1) Did the '02 Mkiv TT come in a quicksilver 6spd hardtop? 2) If so, what would it cost to get one of these specific cars into Canada? Thanks in advance! :) |

High mileage (>150K miles) Mkiv Supra TT's can be prone to a few relatively minor issues, depending upon how hard they've been driven. One example is the harmonic dampener - it typically should be replaced at this mileage. Also consider the coilpacks at this mileage to be a 'consumable', and they should be replaced too. Keep an eye on the turbos, as they can possibly fail this 'early' if driven hard. On the other hand, I've seen the oem twins last over 200K miles if not 'abused'. The oem bov will probably start leaking a bit of boost (i.e. slightly limit your max boost) at 100K or so. Other that that, it's pretty much normal maintenance (and associated problems if proper maintenance has not been done on that particular vehicle). |

Yeh hey ? alright just i dont want em to shaft me lol. BUt alrighty then ill go thru my buddies shop. #2 Thanks PWPANAS ! thast wicked... that must of been the tricky-est name ive never spelt.. lol. #3 , seriously i needa know standard lol!:dunno::rolleyes: |
Krystie, how did it turn out? Did you get your Supra from TSS (I assume that's the one when you said Skyline shop in Abbotsford).
I bought one from Steve too and no complaint for his quality imports at all. When I get the Supra in the future, I will use Japanese exporter and custom broker. The mark up from importers in general is too much. |
