2JZGTE (the "T" stands for turbo)

doh! anyway how much whp can my motor handle and what turbo would you recomend with my setup? id like it to be more powerful, around 800 whp

·New J Spec Motor
·Single Turbo conversion 67mm .81
·GREDDY Front Mount Intercooler
·GREDDY Street Performance Full Exhaust System
·AEM Plug and Play Engine Management System
oAEM's Plug & Play Engine Management System (EMS) plugs directly into a vehicle's factory ECU harness and requires no additional wiring or hardware. Windows™ compatible software (2000, XP, NT, 98, 95, ME) makes the task of copying, viewing and manipulating data as simple as a click of the mouse. An integrated tuning wizard allows users to create a base map specifically for a car’s configuration, regardless of what type of injectors, sensors, coils or other changes have been made. The AEM EMS's infinitely adjustable software allows tuners to program virtually any combination of engine control, power adders and auxiliary devices, and accurately delivers proper amounts of fuel and correct ignition timing for any boost level or operating condition.
·HKS Racing Blow Off Valve
·HKS Ignition System
·HKS Boost Gauge
·Apexi Turbo Timer

Is your Supra auto or 6spd? In order for the power to get to the wheels (as per your "whp" spec), it has to go through the transmission. Auto vs. manual has a different driveline loss factor, so I can't recommend a turbo without this info.

The 2jz-gte will handle about 1000hp at the crank (about 850whp through a 6spd), reliably, assuming very good tuning, and always using an appropriately high octane of race fuel to match the boost level you're running. I'm also assuming that your engine is in excellent condition (good compression & leakdown #s), and it has been properly maintained.

its a six speed. i mean if it says twin turbo on the motor and it is a different motor than stock than im assuming its a gte. which rocks:bigthumb:
