Starter Relay? Passenger Kick panel?

hey everyone im in the process of getting my car to start. I need to check the starter relay, the neutral safety, fusible links, and then starter. tsrm states starter relay is on passengers kick panel... i dont see a relay box over there, or do you have to remove the carpet? And wheres the neutral safety? and then i read that the fusible links were on the positive cable... cant find those either, anything will help, thanks in advance.

Work backwards

Find the wire to the starter that is NOT the big one. Put a test light on it, and have someone try to start the car. If the light comes on, then your are getting power to the starter, so it is bad.

If the light does not come on, then back track to the problem area.

When you sit in the passenger seat your left foot would rub up against the panel you need to remove to get to that relay its going to be just up a little bit from the door, and your going to have to really get up there to see it. I think my starter relay was green, the kick panel/relay box should be right there after the glove box towards the door if i can i will take some pictures 2morrow its to dark to do it right now.

thanks for the replys, turns out the starter was getting pwr. Anyways i got to the bottom of it and now it starts, low battery now though... only starts with a jump right now, think i have to charge it since i had it removed for like 2 days.. hopefully it doesnt need to be replaced. 10v wont start car? cause thats what my battery gauge is telling me. does it take all 12v to start it? anywho thanks guys.

I left my battery plugged in while the car was stored and it went dead.

It's a BRAND NEW Optima red top. FYI.

My Battery will go dead in like 5 minutes if my car is shut off with the lights on lol... but sometimes when you buy a battery you get one with a bad cell in it or that is what my father calles it, and that will cause the battery to go dead within a day or 2

This was more like a month an a half or so.

I hadn't messed with it because of the ecu.

Voltage must be above 11.6v with the key on and engine off, while cranking voltage must not go below 9v, if it does your battery is discharged and the starter will not operate or operate slowly. A battery will not go dead being disconnected for 2 days, that takes months.

Use a voltmeter at the battery to test voltage, don't rely on the stock gauge.

yeah was reading 10v and 11.6 sounds right, new battery in there and everything is working fine again.
