Coolant gauge not working
 

i have an 89 turbo and the coolant gauge doesn't work at all...

anybody else had this happen? advice?

Check the small sending unit on the side of the thermostat housing and just below. It is the one with the single wire terminal coming off the sending unit.
Here is a pic of the IPB at a bad angle.

cool thanks, thats exactly what i was looking for. getting the sender today.

yea i got one at napa for 15 bucks. the connection was fine but the sender had an open. thanks for the help fellas. but sad to say ill be selling my car tomorrow and getting a mkii to start drifting.
