Ebay Radiator...
Just seen this on eBay
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TOYOTA-SUPRA-T...QQcmdZViewItem Question is, would it fit my 1989 7MGE? |
It says it would but if you have an Auto transmission it might not have the transmission cooling built into it.
Its wise to get a rad with the tranny cooler built in and for more protection get a supplemental cooler you mount in line with the one built into the radiator. |
I've been suspicious of my wife having an affair for some time. All the usual signs are there, nights out with the girls, the caller hanging up when I answer the phone, being secretive about calls to her mobile phone, etc.
I decided to watch where she goes on these nights out so last night I followed her. I was in my 1989 Supra 7MGE. I pulled up close to where her taxi stopped and hid behind the car with the hood open as she paid the fare. It was a good vantage point. It was at this moment that I noticed a small hairline crack in the top of the radiator. Now, is the repair of this leak within the abilities of the average person using radweld etc. or should I take it to the garage for repair. Your advice would be appreciated. |
I'm not a very good marriage counselor so Ill stick with advice on the the Supra ;.)
If the plastic top is cracked then find a shop that can replace it. Trying to patch it is a waste of time. |
Get a new one
Just get a new one, as you will never get it to stay sealed.
How would you like to be in hot persuit of the jerk banging you wife?? Driving like Jason Bourne?...and all of a sudden, because the "repair" failed, you find yourself on the side of the road with a blown engine... As he gets away with her to their secret love nest !!!!! Just get a new one ! http://www2.partstrain.com/store/pro..._name=radiator |
He can have her, it's the car I'm worried about ;)
The crack is soooo small that you can only tell it's there when there are bubbles comming out. I thought I'd try some araldite first. If that doesn't work then it's the new radiator. Thanks for all the help.. Quote:
