alarm light

My alarm light used to blink repeatedly when i locked the door and held the handle up and closed it. Now it just stays on. Whats up?

I believe that means its not set (to secure the car). Check the hood sensor first (as its the easiest, then hatch sensor, and then possibly one of the door sensors, cause its probably one of them that went bad.
