threw a rod huh? yea that sucks, same happened to mine, cept i bought it that way but ive got 223,000 body km's on it soon im gonna be fixin up the body and putting a new engine in

My rod bearing wore out, I had to pull the motor, then I blew a head gasket 3 weeks later, then after pulling the head my block was cracked, working on supras (well any car for that matter) is like christmas you new know what you got till open it up and dig in. lol

150K miles 7MGE, rebuilt head, new gasket, new exhaust manifold, front pipe, cat and rear pipes. Rebuilt rak, new power steering pump, rebuilt high pressure hose, new valve, new clutch, replaced all seals on engine and tranny, new timing belt, new water pump, some new switches and valves, new coolant lines, rebuilt 2 piece drive shaft, rebuilt differential, one new and one rebuilt axle. new power antenna, new rear wipers, and other stuff.
Need new paint and interior, saw leather seats for Supra http://www.leatherseats.com/Supra_leather_kit.asp Has anyone done business with them?

Ran, you could think about just getting leather covers.. found some on ebay for like 200
