A deal as good as this could turn into a solid year of your life spent rebuilding your car.

Everyone thinks OH for joy. A supra. I think I will buy it.
And then you realize the grass was green over here because it's covered in coolant.

Good Luck. cause, it sounds like they fixed and then drove it until they started thinking it may blow again or we should sell it before it blows.

So does she still sound like a deal??? You take these cars at face value and then tyou have to figure they "the car" is hiding something. Because they do and they do it well.

If you are buying this car because you invision it one day being nice. You are asking for it. You should read everything you can about these cars because more of them get worked on all week long so we can drive them on the weekends, than their are daily drivers.

If you aren't a mechanic yet, you will be when you aquire a supra. Because they cost too much to let someone else work on and you'll be workiing on it enough that you'll have to do the work so you can learn how to work on it yourself. If you are a worthy supraholic.

Good Luck. Make sure it has the stock engine in it. Cause if it's jdm and it breaks, you will be doubley lost if you don't know these engines.

Well, its a 1990 so its not to to old, im was the first year they made this car and its pretty reliable for its year and everything, His car seems to have low milage so i dont think he will have a problem, but i dont know why you would replace a headgasket till it was a problem... if they did everything right then the car should be very good.

mmmm ya ok.
If it has a 1j series engine maybe.
Mine is a 91 and the 90's are prone to the same problem as the rest of them.

This isn't a ford or a chevy. It's much much more and then some.
Like I said. Good Luck.

on a lighter note... i got my 87 with 89k on it and since put over 20k on it.. only things that have gone wrong with mine are some hose cracks.. pwr steering belt/setup... and maybe some more really minor things.. so all in all i think i got a good deal with mine, btw had it a year now to. but deffinetly make sure it it priced right and drive it for a bit to make sure it doesnt have a BHG. good luck man, enjoy the supra

When you drive it get on it. It's a sports car. It can handle it.

Don't be disrespectfull. But if the owner doesn't like you in the upper rpm register he may know something he isn't fully disclosing.

Listen for the water fall. Look at the block. Is it coated in oil.
This is a real good site and if you search. You can find anything you may want to look for when buying a supra.

I wasn't trying to be a dick, even though it came off that way.
I seriously wish you well. These cars are just so damn taxing at times.
