turbo swaps

Ok i have just bought a 1986.5 non turbo auto. I want to know, can I put a aftermarket turbo on it with minimal mods. Is it worth the gain. How do i remap my computer. When I put a turbo on it.

your better off, swapping a 7mgte motor
since the n/a has higher compression pistons
oil squirters on the block
untapped return line, and so on and so fourth

average hp 180hp to the wheel

average price i wouldnt pay more then 400 even if

average reason why people sold their 7mgte BLOWN HEADGASKET

you can get the 7mgte and before putting it in fix the head gasket right away dont wait

if money isnt that tight for you try gettin a 1jz they average about 2k an engine meanign with front clip motor and tranny

if money is just paper to you 2jz can be your answer
average price on that is 6500

well everything with the 7mgte swap would be a plug and play install
but if ur getting the 7mgte, u better be sure to get the little things too
ie: coil pack, igniter, harness, ecu, power steering mount,
intercooler, throttle body housing, TB cable

and try to get the r154 trans too, the NA trans will bolt up, but
the 154 is more robust, and can hold more power
