It's ok dude. They are name brand parts Titanmotorspots dp and testpipe, its just how it bolts on. Any 3" downpipe will be low to the ground.
I just lowered the front some more, another 1/4" and now the exhaust scrapes rocks when I pull in my driveway. It sucks, I want it lower too. I also noticed that when you lower one corner, the opposite corner actually raises along with the opposite side lowering its a confusing mess. But I managed to get the front dead even but now the rears are off by 1/8" from rear right to rear left. I spent 3 hours today adjusting the ride height and then I just gave up. The real test will be if I can pull into my work driveway without scraping. |
damn i should have drove by on saturday .
looks cool i can't wait to see another one with the same exhaust as mine |
Yeah you should have.
Don't be shy, whenever you feel like stopping by just do it. I get out of work around 5-6pm and I have the weekends off. If I'm home you won't even need to knock on my door, I'll hear you coming and I'll be outside before you shut your car off. |
On a related topic, I found out I can still change my oil in my backyard with it lowered. But the drainpan doesn't fit between the ground and the oil pan so I can't lower the jack all the way to drain every last drop out. Oh well.
I switched from Mobil 1 to Royal Purple. And at $7 a quart....... Anybody run RP 10w30? |
Heres where it sits now. I was going to leave it decal free (I have alot of decals from parts I bought, ARP, MSD, HKS, Blitz) but the coilovers came with a whole sheet of decals and a dozen other ones. It even came with a metal badge. I just put 2 decals on, the passenger side has one too.
