Synthetic Oils and Premium Gas

im thinking of switching over to synthetic oil. Any one do that before with a mk3. any thing bad happen. is it a good or bad idea to do the switch. i know i need to keep it synthetic once i switch but i wanted to get some opinions before i switched. Another this is would it be a bad idea to run premium unleaded gas in my car. normally i just put the regular in but would it hurt to put the better stuff in?

Synthetic is safe as long as your engine isnt in the break in period still.

I would consider running synthetic if you have a lot of miles on your engine.

The general rule of thumb it that these cars are either Castrol cars or Penzoil cars. I preferr Castrol GTX hard drive. 10w 40

Now if I rebuilt my complete engine block and all.
Internals, everything. I would go synthetic.

I tried that hybrid half and half oil. That shiot sucks.

Oil...

I work at Pennzoil and trust me, if you switch to synthetic and don't like it, there is absolutely no problem switching to regular or semi-synthetic afterward... I did it many times and the customers came back and never complained about their motor being lazy or whatever... And also synthetic oil is good for any motor as long as it is not leaking, believe me. It burns less and protects your engine against high temperatures...

I've been running 93 octane and 10-40 Royal Purple Synthetic for about 6 months, absolutely no problems.

The only problem I have heard of is that if you swirch back your whip'll smoke.
