just to get a ball park
 

i have an 88 n/a red targa top 5speed supra that does not run. The crank pulley fell off of it. the fan chipped due to belts coming off when the crank pulley fell of. the car has 172k miles on it. it has been started several times, but when i went to college, i guess the battery died. the car is in good shape.

FLAWS
-rust spot just under the edging of the passenger door panel.
-crack in the front lip on the right fog light... my gf hit a railroad tie after coming back from taking pictures of the car
-paint is faded
-no ratchet to remove top
-center console armrest campartment cover has duct tape on it.
-antenna broken off
-a/c not working

other than that the car is in great shape.


THE GOOD

every little bit of paper work was kept on the car
new aftermarket muffler and 4ft of piping on the car.. NOT A FART CAN bf goodrich pilot tires on with less than 20k miles on them... with a full spare
cd player
i bought the car from the original owner.
a woman lawyer, non smoker, it was garage kept for 2 years till i got the car


i want to sell it as a parts car and am trying to but if push comes to shove part it out.

i want 1100 for it since 700$ will get the car back up and running
this is just to see how much people would offer so i can get an idea

In all honesty you're probably going to be sitting on it for a while. You're talking about $1800 for a running non-turbo. While it's not really a lot they typically go for less in much better shape. If you think you can get it and you've got time to spare go for it! The resale on these cars is too low as it is.

I agree I just purchased a 90 turbo targa with no rust only 114,000 a newer jdm engine with a bhg for 1400
