i have a 89 gte auto now when i start the car white smoke comes out and will do so for a very long time, if i rev the eneine then more smoke comes out, theres no fluids leaking on the ground and there is no ant-freez oil mixuters, car doesnt over-heat, and i cant tell if theres any lose of power if this has happend to you or you no what this is please let me no.

it does this when its cold? the engine i mean. If it does it when you first start her up, its probably just condensation in the exhaust and no biggie.

if it stays like that for a long time once it reaches operating tempature then you could have a small leak. not big enough to where the water is mixing with the oil. could be leaking slightly into the piston area ad just getting burned off. Also check your plugs to see if you have any wetness on them, as far as coolant goes. My 85 supra has water on a couple plugs, gonna have to change the HG.

its gonna overheat soon. white smoke is water finding its way to the combustion chamber. it can be anything from a blown head gasket(common), to a warped head, or bad valve seals.

i dont think its goin to over heat soon cuz its been months and never has? could it be the turbo

also what you might want to do is check your radiator, see if your coolant level is going down. If it isn't moving at all then your HG is alright, i mean it makes sense to me, if you have a bhg then you would be loosing coolant somewhere. I thought i had one, cause i read one of supra girls things where she said if it sounds like you have a waterfall in your dash then you have a bhg. scared me, but i realized it was just when it was cold, and the coolant was just circulating, and plus i wasn't loosing any coolant at all what so ever, still filled to the top.

have you ever refilled your coolant resevoir at any time during the past few months??
another way to tell is to take out each plug. if one looks cleaner than the other, that is the cylinder getting water. if they all look the same, your getting moisture inside the intake manifold.
