Always put a chock on both sides of one front wheel that is going to stay on the ground when you lift your car up. I'd recommend doing one side at a time since your front wheels don't have any other way of keeping still without a chock. If lifting the front end I feel okay doing both since I got both e-brake and chocks for safety in the rear.
