2jz

i have a ma70 and i want to know if any one knows how you put and what you have to do to get a 2jz in it

its worth it

its expensive but its worth it, im doing it right now to my 90 supra and all said and done it costs about 10 to 13,000 depending on what u want out of it. For starters you need the 2jz motor, the transmission out of the mk4 supra, 6-speed is the best bet,u also need motor-mounts, new fuel pump and power-steering pump, and the ecu and new harnesses. The best thing to do is find a shop that knows what theyre doing and get them to help find parts. But its definitely worth it.

after you have that stuff does it drop straight in or do you have to castomize anything else in the engine bay

there are a few other things you might need but it all depends what u want out of the car and whether yours was a turbo to begin with or not..mine wasnt so i have to get an intercooler, new intake and exhaust but if yours was a turbo to begin with, you might not need all that stuff..other than that there may be a few smaller things but i honestly cant remember everything being done to mine, theres so many new parts, but you should really sit down with the mechanic who is capable of doing the swap and talk with him

Sumbody should really sticky this topic
You need,
Motor mounts,
Transmission mounts
Driveshaft,
Ecu
Harness,
To start with
Then you'll probly need a new exhaust,
If you car wasn't a turbo
You will need an intercooler,
The necessary plumbing,
A bov
If you planning to keep the stock twin-turbos, you need to bang the firewall
On the back part mid-passenger side firewall, to fit the second turbo
If ur planning to go single, I suggest getting a new manifold and a new wastegate
A turbo with at least .70 trim and a
50-60mm wastegate,
With that said u should upgrade ur fuel delivery system,
Dual walbro 255lph won't be bad to start with
A new fuel pressure regulator so u have something to control ur fuel

Sum of the steps that I mentioned are optional,
I mentioned it bcuz it would a lot easier to do this stuff while the engine is still out of the car
