Clutch Master Cylinder
I don't have any tips as of yet - but I'm going to do this same thing within the next week. After looking again - it looks like an extension and the feel of the fingers might be the answer here. I think the real tough part might just be a fat man laying on his back on the floor board trying to play under this dash. Might be a week but will keep you posted.

I will be trying again today I think my best bet will be a 12mm stubby

I used a gearwrench worked great I did mine because it was leaking on my 86.5. Did you think about rebuilding it instead of replacing you just need a small cylinder hone and the kit. The rebuild kit is like 12 dollars thats what I did worked out just fine. But if anything I think the one on my JDM clip might work on a US version car so I got a practically new one.
