I am a huge nubbie and can't change my lights.

I need to change my fog light, head light, license plate lights and brake light. Help!

I tried and removed a bunch of screws but thats as far as i got.

The foglight is a sealed unit. You have to buy a new foglight which are $$$. I never had to change a headlight so I'm not sure about that. For the plate lights, you unscrew the top and bottom screws on the light housing and you should be able to pull it out. For the taillights, open the hatch and pull off the plastic covering the inside of the taillights. Pull the bulb holders out and replace the bulbs.

Don't go pulling on the tail light lens covers.
You'll snap that biotch and get water and rust in your hatch and your spare tire well.

Some Dill Weed did that to mine. Probably the same guy that jacked up the last hg change.

Changing the bulb in the fog light is easy, its just 2 screws on the front and it comes out.

I did not know that. I was under the impression that you had to replace the whole thing. I learned something new today.

also the headlight isnt so hard either, just take off the trim, i believe only 4 screws. then the screws holding the headlight. once you get started its pretty easy. i dont know about aiming them though

I just did the head lights and fog lights, it's not hard at all. the hardest part is not lossing the screws that hold in the lights to the front grill, i used a magnetic screw driver (reccomended). To aim the head lights it's the bigger screws on the outside and bottom of the headlights (they first look to hold the light housing in), it's best to park infront of a wall like 10 feet away or so and turn the lights on during dusk and just match them to the same hieght on the wall.

Yes. magnet. old speaker magnets work GREAT for magnetizing screwdrivers. Just leave them on it when not using them.

You can also hold a magnet on the shaft and it will magnetize it enough to hold those tiny screws.

i pulled the fog light but then theres this big rubber thing on the back of it thats holding it in or something. Idon't get it.

that rubber thing just makes it so the wires cant be touched by water and all of, you can pull that thing off but be carefull its old and will most likely crack and break, you really dont need it but if you can save it use it. if i remember right the plug on the back of the foglights are in there pretty tight so small hands also are needed.
