Ceramic coated pistons?

Does anyone know the benifits of ceramic coated pistons vs stock?

Kuban 04-12-2007 11:10 AM

let me rephrase that. Do the stock gte rods have a higher power tolerance than the pistons? If they do then i could see the ceramic coating to help boost the power roof of the pistons by helping with heat resistance. Im sure this has been answered before but while im here i mine as well ask what those power tolerances for pistons, and rods are?

Ceramic is good stuff but I don't know anyone with pistons or rods coated.

Good Luck with that.

LOL i never said ceramic coated rods lol. That wouldnt do anything at all. Pistons is suppose to help with friction (aka less wair) and heat resistance.

So I'm right by default..., is that what you are saying???

That makes much more sense I'm not sure what I was thinking when I posted.
