What brake discs are people using on their MkIII Supra Turbos. I have an '89 and i get severe brake fade after I have been driving it hard for a few tight corners. The calipers have been re-conditioned and ive replaced the pads and had the old discs skimmed. Has anybody else experienced this? What would you recommend, better discs, higher temp pads, both? Thanks

have you tried a set of cross drilled slotted rotors? they are designed to get rid of that problem..i have the two rear rotors in, im just waiting for the fronts to come in now.

That is a consideration, ive heard things about drilled rotors cracking though, i don't know if you've heard similar? Aybody got some more recommendations?

ive heard the same thing too. the reason they crack is poor installation procedures. after installing the rotors, you have to do a breaking in process. you cant just slam on them on the first shot.

break process is always good. it would be kind of like instead of just slamming on your breaks right after install, it would be like just putting in a brand new engine, and holding the gas pedal down to the floor the first time you crank her over, probably not a good idea :D

try bleeding your whole brake system with new brake fluid, yours is probly old and lost all its viscosity
