Under your dash on the left side youll see a hidden door.

Right accross your brake pedal to the left youll see a little door(cover).

You really do not need to worrie about the passingerside because their is only 1 fuse for the A/C and a CB for the A/C also.

dannydavi 03-30-2007 09:07 PM

i'll go take a look at my repair manual on my next break to verify which fuse would operate that and let you know, but yeah probably the one labeled cig, and i'll find out the atl for you too

ALT is the Alternator.

The fuse is 100A and on my 87 N/A its 80A.

dannydavi 03-30-2007 10:10 PM

so yeah, what he said about the ALT, i was wondering if you meant ALT and not ATL but i checked anyways, and yes CIG is the stand alone fuse for the lighter, hope this helps man.

not that your wrong but i was looking the TSRM and it says ALT is 1.25b for an '87. And i've never seen a 1.25b, can someone explain the difference and why there would be alternat fuses or fuse identifiers? thanks

Have you checked to make sure the lighter is hooked up right?
