im paying alot for my 88 supra with a clean title buh im 18 with a accident under my name totaled a car.. so dats a big big big factor im paying 133 for liability state farm so im basically paying around 798 every 6 months for mines

I can afford $800 every 6 months for insurance. Hopefully mine will be about the same though. Pennsylvania has a lot of uninsured drivers so the prices are jacked up from what I understand.

Im 19 and I pay 124 every 6 months for insurance on the supra. Its on a N/A chassis with a swapped turbo engine. So they think it's still N/A. But for my tiburon i pay 254 a month. And thats with an at fault accident. So it is kind of expensive. Things like an airbag and ABS will lower the rates also. I have 2 cars insured and registered under my name so the insurance rates drastically went down for the supra. That and i told them it wasnt running so now that it is i guess i gotta change that, lol.

to save you from ins. problems, buy a n/a supra and turbo it afterwards. youll have a turbo car at the regular n/a insurance rate

I've seen 2 really good ads so far on supras. One of them on a non-turbo and one on a turbo. The turbo isn't much more, has less miles, comes in red, and a leather interior. Also it's faster. So I'm leaning towards that. My main concern is insurance though. I know insurance varies from place to place but are the turbos much more to insure than the non-turbos? It's only a 30 hp difference on them but I know insurance companies also have no reasoning. My parents are going to help me out with insurance cause they're awesome but anything over $1,300 (what my sister's was) a year I have to pay for but from my understanding insurance is high in our area. Thanks for the help.
