quick question on to swapable parts

Just wondering if i could use the distributor off my 85 supra to try on my 87.
This is for the $300 car i picked up and i'm trying to figure out what i want to do with the car, i figure before i replace the cam, i wanted to try and get her running to see how she sounds.

nope couldnt do that. wouldnt fit on her
