Thanks for the reply I will drain the oil to see if I see anything abnormal.
Do you have any idea what could be causing the ticking?
Ishino brand is stock for gaskets right?

Your valve clearances need to be adjusted. There are shims inbetween the cam lobes and valve lifters which need to be at a specific size. It's not a hard job, just very time consuming and there is alot of math involved. Plus you need special tools to remove and install the shims. Not a job for an amateur.

Thanks Hacks! Looked at the manual and I know what you mean lots of tables to look up and some simple math iterations. Very cumbersome. What about stock head gaskets? Where can I buy them and not spend and arm and a leg? I found the ARP bolts for $100.
