LEAN LEAN LEAN timing is way too advanced, AFM dead...repair before you buy a new motor..

i have another afm on the way right as we speak its in the mail. my timing was actually below 0. dont ask me how this happened i dont know i set it right last time. and if my afm is bad wouldnt that make me run rich.

Any codes? If the AFM is faulty, then it is probably giving the computer the wrong information. It doesn't necissarily have to go into limp mode.

generally when the afm is faulty it will throw codes

try putting the downpipe back on, just to the cat and see if theres any change then get back to us

"my turbo and my turbo manifold is glowing red hot"

The exhaust manifold is most likely warped by now. Warpage limits for turbo exhaust manifolds are .0197 in.

Did you set BASE ignition timing? This is done by disabling the electronic advance. Base ignition timing for a turbo 87 should be 10 degrees before top dead center (BTDC).

ALSO, with having the DP off you are introducing air up into the O2 housing where the sensor is, it will cause either extremely rich, or lean condition, ask me how i know, I had a bad leak at my manifold in my camaro where the o2 housing was, it ran so rotten it ruined my 02 sensor, and I had to change my plugs...

a glowing header or turbo means the plugs are firing way before they should be, and it causes extreme heat to build up, change your oil when your done too, and you might have to clean your turbo oil lines too, they are possibly coked up now from the oil being well over temp...
