tail lights out need help!

Is there a fuse that runs the back tail lights on our cars? I have brake lights when i hit the brakes all the brake lights come on but when i have my head lights on the tails lights are suppost to come on too but mine dont.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in Advance

First check to see if your front marker lights come on. If they don't then check your fuses. If your front marker lights DO come on, check your wires at the back to see if you're getting current to em. Use a test light, they're cheap to get. If you're not getting current at the tail light, but you are getting marker lights up front, you'll basically have to work your way to the front checking the wire to see where the short is. Or to the back if you know where the wire originates from.

If you have marker lights while your head lights are on but not tail lights then you have a wire problem somewhere, like I said before, get a test light. They're under 5 bucks for a cheap one and it'll help you find where the problem is.
