need mechanic or any sort of help!

hey guys im just wondering if anyone in the 562 area code would happen to know of a good mechanic that can help me out for a reasonable price. i have an 87 nonturbo, automatic mk3.

ive been trying to replace my engine but have been encountering a lot of difficulties.:sadwavey: the guy that i have helping me right now is not dependable. i live off of the 605 n 91 freeways near cerritos. if anybody can help me out, please message me with a number or some sort of help. i have a cherry picker, jacks, jackstands, tools, but i lack the experience to do this all myself. thank you!

Wish i could say i can help you :_( have you even started? or just got cold feet? Is it safe to say this is your first engine transplant?

first time i have tried this out..i have already taken some stuff out..last things i need to do is disconnect the power steering and the 2 remaining bolts holding the engine and the tranny housing together..i have the cherry picker n tools, but i dont want to try this on my own because the mech. i had wasnt very reliable.

Keep looking for a mechanic. If you are sure of your ability to re-asemble the engine you already had in there then i would give you the green light. Take pictures if you must to save images you won\'t be able to remember. I never start a project like that without pictures. Only safe guarantee. Good Luck!

X2 Just make sure you label and bag your bolts, nuts, etc. also label your wiring take as many pics as possible from diffrent angles. Most important, ask questions here. There is no dumb questions, just dumbmistakes made by not asking questions. Measure twice cut once kinda thing.
