Intercooler question

Well I have been looking at getting a new intercooler and piping because mine is filled with oil and loves coming shooting smoke out of my exhaust. So far this seems to be the best 'bang for the buck' I was just wonderign if anyone has bought a similar kit or if I should go another direction.

Why dont you just replace the intercool and clean out the pipes?

Well the pipes are in horrible shape, I was accualy thinking of doing it the other way around if it is possible because I still have the stock rubber pipes and they are all tearing.

So is it possible to clean out the intercooler? Its in good overall shape, it just got oil in it from my old pos turbo.

I personally would upgrade the stock IC is terribly restrictive Ive tested the stocker against the spearco drop in and a ss autochrome and the SS is the least restrictive and well built

I went to the Spearco site and they had drop ins, but only for the MK IV turbo and N/A. I didn't see anything for the MK 111. It seems that with the inlet and outlet on the same side like mine and all the turbo MK 111's that they would be pretty inneficient so a replacement like the ones they show would be nice, but is there room for the extra piping to come back across to the stock piping holes possible?

Thanks

Russ
