Rear Diff?
 
My rear diff does not lock like it should i was wondering were i could get a new diff and if there is a specific brand recommended?

They love the MKIIIs. You can also get a nice 1 pc. aluminum driveshaft.

Thanks, There expensive... ill get the fluid redraied and see if that fixes anything thanks for the site.

Since these are LSD's they probably use clutch plates to lock up and the pads are worn.

And I don't mean to hijack this thread ,but it seemed a good place for my question as well.Occasionaly while accelerating through a wide turn my rear end shudders pretty hard.I don't have much experience with closed differentials ,is this the LSD locking and slipping in the turn? If I realy throw it into a turn there is no problem ,seems to only happen while accelerating into a wide turn (such as across 5 lane intersections)

YES. So change the fluid to a synthetic.
