lowering
i am looking to lower my mkiii supra about 1 inch what does everybody recommend for lowering springs?? If you know where they are the cheapest feel free to let me know.
|
eibach springs , the cheapest that i know
there's a cheaper method but i do not recomend it |
cutting
you mean cutting springs is what you don't recommend.
that lowers your car but the ride is bouncy and no "spring" action. |
i know you can cut the springs but im not going to do that is why i was asking about the springs
|
eibach
you can pick up eibachs on ebay for about $200 + shipping.
also suprastore.com has some for about the same price i think |

TEIN also makes an SS (Super Street) for our cars. Somewhat less expensive and not as true performance oriented but if your not going to the track it's probably very good and adjustable too. One good thing about adjustable is you can tune your suspension set-up, plus, if you mess around with different wheel sizes and tire profiles you can adjust your ride height accordingly. http://www.tein.com/toyota.html http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l1...AfterTEIN2.jpg http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l1...aRaceReady.jpg |
Well he does want the cheapest. And Tein is definitely not the cheapest. But they are one of the best. I dont recommend going cheap on the Supra because it will bite you in the ass later on.

if you replace the springs you might wanna replace the shocks also

So basically for US $1,000.00 for TEIN SS you get high quality lowering and adjustable springs AND shocks. Worth saving your money and being patient. (just so ya know...pronunciation TEIN is Tane) |

does it soundlike tame (tame the lion) only with an N? |

intrax springs on summitracing.com are 189 + shipping it drops the car more than an inch though. i have these with tokico shocks and i have never had a problem. i have used intrax on both my supras.
|
oh i know the ss are coilovers... i was just saying if he just got lowering springs he may want to replace the shocks while he was at it...
i also know its pronouced 'tane' but im one of the stubborn americans and would rather pronounce it as it reads |
