west_side_supra 10-31-2006 10:39 PM

I have looked at the fuses on the drivers side and passenger side kicker panels and they are all fine, i have also looked at the relays and fuses in the engine compartment they are all fine, WHAT IS GOING ON HERE!!! AHHH :) jeeze is all started off with a simple welding of a new muffler, then the clutch seized, now this. i bet you next my head gasket will blow :(

Possibly knocked out a breaker on the fuse panel?
From my Supra manual...

"To reset a manual circuit breaker, first disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal.Remove the circuit breaker, insert a pin into the reset hole and push in..."

Unfortunately my scanner is not working at the moment ,but it's a semi-round block with a hole in it.Best of luck to you.

well i tested it out, and the circut breaker is not wanting to stay engaged, i dissconnected the neg. and pulled it out, then poked it and it keeps clicking back out. i grabed a diffrent circut breaker and put it in the same spot and it does the same thing, so does this mean that there is a bad ground somewhere? if so where would it be located?

thanks again guys

OMG this is just getting worse, now its acting as if the clutch pedal sensor isnt working, i will apply the clutch all the way and it wont start, i can still push start it, the pedal is hitting the button all the way, i have even pushed the button all the way in with my finge and it still wont start. what have i done to the supra gods, i swear they are just onto smiteing me these past 2 weeks. jeeze im also starting to have troubles with the po po's again. give me your ideas on my problems peoples thanks

test your alternator. mine went bad and i could only start my car by rolling it. but it worked enough to keep my car running. all i had to do was get a new one and problem solved. just take it off, go to an autozone or something, and have them test it. its a very simple process

west_side_supra 11-07-2006 10:06 PM

the alternator is fine, it is recarging, and it stays between 13/14 volts.

check the battery cables, check grounds... electrical problems are always a biotch

west_side_supra 11-08-2006 08:04 AM

oh i know, electrical is my thing, after having to fix car toys problem with wireing my alarm and failing to ground it correctly, and basically catching my car on fire because of there shit. i had to rewire everything from my ignition to bassically all the wires on my fuse box :) but luckly i just so happen to have two of them mini fire extinguishers in the car if i didnt have that by by camaro

CB popping?

I didn't know there was a circuit breaker installed on the Supra but scince yours won't stay engaged then you have a short circuit. I havn't seen the scematic for it but you will have to repair the wire or not have power to the items on the circuit. Disconnecting the negative cable will not help reset this scince its the power after the breaker that has found a ground and is overloading the circuit when you try and reset it. Where exactly is the breaker?

its the 2nd diagram, in your kick panel on the drivers side in the fuse box, its the far right one and its like the third from the top. it clicks on then off really fast. i hunted the ground wires for it down and it all looks good, didnt try to move them to a diffrent spot. its drivin me nuts though, why this have to happen when we get the worst rainy days ever. ERRR!
