most the time when the people who sell the jdm motors go to get the motor out, they wont take their time to unbolt everything and unclip all the connectors. ussually they take a saw and zzzzzziiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnggggggg right through whatever is in their way. if the harness is jdm it will be shorter becuase they dont run along the back of the firewall (remember jspec supras are right hand drive, meaning the ecu is on the left hand side). so you might wanna look into a new/used harness, or the one that came with the car

you should of used your original harness... it worked with me..

the othe differences are one or two sensors on the thermostat housing and the lack of EGR valve.. other than that..all the sensors hook up straight with out differences...also make sure you are routing the harnes between the injector fuel rail and the intake plenum..
